Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

No, we are a private pay practice and do not process insurance. However, upon request, an itemized invoice with diagnosis and treatment codes, can be provided for potential reimbursement from your insurance provider. It is the guarantor’s responsibility to know insurance benefits for speech therapy prior to start of services.

How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?

If you have concerns about your child’s communication skills, it’s best to consult with a speech-language pathologist. Common signs that may indicate a need for speech therapy include delayed speech, difficulty understanding or following directions, limited vocabulary, trouble forming sentences, or difficulty being understood by others. If you're unsure, we’re happy to discuss your concerns during a free consultation.

What ages do you work with?

We specialize in working with toddlers and preschoolers ages 18 months to 6 years old.

What’s the difference between individual speech therapy and the intensive program (Language BOOST)?

  • Individual Therapy provides ongoing support through regularly scheduled sessions tailored to your child’s needs.

  • Language BOOST is a 4-week, structured intensive program designed to help children make progress quickly, ideal for those on waitlists or looking for focused, short-term support.

How do virtual sessions work?

Virtual therapy sessions take place over a secure video platform and are just as interactive as in-person sessions. Parents play an active role, and we guide you through play-based activities and everyday routines to support your child’s communication skills.

Do you offer in-person therapy?

Yes! We provide in-person therapy in Cincinnati, OH and virtual therapy across North Carolina and California.
